leak,please help

Default leak,please help

hi ive not got a manual as yet for my 1994 wrx import,so need help.
ive got a leak on a tank where the coolant runs 2 and i keep havin 2 top up my coolant.its a little tank where looks like a pipe runs down to the turbo. i keeps boiling up and leaking out of the tank like little bubbling alsothe pipe at the back of the tank.

can anyone help please??

do you mean the expansion tank?
If so cos its made of plastic you can get a split in it.
Mine had one of the plastic extrusions break off dramatically splashing hot coolant over the mechanic.

thought it was that tank. its made of stainless steel b the looks of things.i think it may be the seal or something.is it safe to drive it with it leaking slightly? cheers mate anymore comments o this would be great

sounds like water header tank i think from your description they are plastic and just brake up in time if it is the header tank,£58 new from subaru.
