Hi got a bugeye on 51 plate,temp of engine has gone above normal but not goin into red,but when accelerating temp goes down,then when drive normal temp goes up and stays up but not goin into red,ive checked liquid levels there norm level and fan is coming on but i think fan cmes on a bit too often,im just wandering could it be a thermostat problem!

 

Thermostat is first thing to change as it cheap and easy - there's a pdf doc of instructions how to change it floating around on a post on here somewhere, just do a search.
