doddle of a job, some people prefer to remove the rear seat but personally i couldnt be arsed, remove boot mat and false floor front right hand side of the boot you shall see a tin plate remove that, then you will see the fuel pipes and wires remove all them be sure the tank is below half way and you have let the pressure out of the tank using the filler cap, then unbolt the unit and gently remove it you will find you will have to wobble it about abit and out it will come, reuse the original filter as some aftermarket pump kit you will find that this is smaller and the rest is pretty much self explanitary, when you done just put it back together.

Yup, easy job as ROB84 has said .... also keep the doors and boot open so you dont breath those lovely fumes in .... OOhh and dont smoke while you are doing it either.

Please note.
Removing the fuel Filler Cap does not release the Fuel Pressure !!!
It's the Fuel Feed Lines that are Pressurised & not the Tank.
Fuel pressure can be lost if the car has stood for a good while.
You need to either run the car with the electrical feed to the pump disconnected or carefully loosen a fuel pipe by the fuel filter using a wrag wrapped arround etc to catch it, Make Sure you have a Stone Cold Engine & The Battery Disconnected Prior to this Method

Rob . It was not meant like that & your instructions are spot on ,it ws just to alert to the potential Hazard thinking they had released the pressure.
The Cap does Pwssh when you unscrew it as you say due to Vacum being created by the pump sucking, But there is a one way valve in the fuel pump exit pipe to stop fuel pressure being lost & fuel running back when the ignition is off Etc which works far better on the Walbro's than the standard.
APologies
