ported throttle body
Can anyone give more info on this job please.
I have hopefully aquired some ported headers, and the guy selling these has also offered me a ported turbo, inkeeping with the ported theme this sounds good.
Big or little job,
Worthwhile?
Expensive?

i did mine myself, i didn't actually enlarge the bore as such because i would then have had to make a new spindle and butterfly so i guess it was more of a blend and remove of the step that presents itself when the intercooler pipe is on.
Not sure it would make much difference on it's own tbh, but as Harvey has said (about this very thing i think?) "As many a mickle makes a muckle"
so i guess if you was to start porting then the idea is to port everything that is portable and get a result?
Oh, and it wasn't hard either about an hour and a half start to finish, dremmel's are great which will also make it cheap as well cos i did it, all by myself

personally, i have one of Harvey's special option 2 up pipes and a set of his "ported headers"
but!
i have also ported the heads slightly as a head needed to come off and the engine was out, but i also matched by porting the inlet manifold to the gaskets and then to the heads that way, i am quite confident that i have a straight through run without any steps to upset airflow?
