car is booked to have a scooby clinic map, 93 wrx, standard ecu, few mods inc. full de-cat, hks induction filter and ra box. this car packs a real puch in low gears with hardly any lag, tried z4 but got loads of lag and was very disapointed. am i likely to have similar experience here, i know they will defo increase bhp but dont want to loose any bottom end, what do u guys think?

You won't be disappointed. Remapping aims to improve driveability by reducing lag among other things. My car will felt far more responsive after a session at SC.

if you got loads of lag with a z4, check which turbo you have on your car. It should be a tdo5 however it may have been changed at some point (mine is a good example tdo5 was replaced with a weedy vf10) This gives very good low down pull but starts to run out of steam quite quickly

You will never reduce lag without changing the turbo, Induction, Up-pipe etc a turbo will generally spool when it spools, You can however with mapping make the lag feel less noticeable by increasing low down torque from better fueling Etc ![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
A Remap by a Good Mapper is definaely the way to go.
