Max power for P1 gearbox

As above running approx 300hp with a P1 box (not a P1 car)

unfortunatley !
What sort of power torque can they take before exploding

I'm no expert and no i dont own one but i've heard they are stronger and a few people are running 400bhp.

they are the 5 speed gearboxes to have apparently.

300bhp you shoudl be fine

Torque kills gearboxes. Many run remapped P1s that have around 330ft lbs without issue. Some are up over the wrong side of 350lbs ft and things are still holding together fine. A select few have got away with around 400 lbs ft I believe, but at that level I wouldn't expect it to last, certainly not if you're fond of giving the car some stick!
