Hi, im in abit of a dilemma as to which exhaust system to get. I have narrowed it down to the following three,

APS 3" catted
Milltek 3" catted
H&S 3" catted

Anyone care to offer some advise or experiences on quality, fitment and noise. Am looking for a fairly quiet system if that helps.
The car is a 04 WRX and will need to cope with about 300hp with supporting mods.

What do you want to achieve in going to a 3" system ?

Assuming its BHP as you say you want a fairly quite system, the 2.5" system is enough for circa 350bhp so you don't need a 3" system for your target.

I would suggest you look at just changing the up pipe, down pipe (sports cat to stay legal or decat if you want pops,bangs and flames), decat centre pipe and change the back box.

Decat U.P £135 new
Sports cat DP £300 new
Decat Centre pipe £105 new
Back Box - Take your pick from the attached but guess £200>£250 new

All of these or similar can probably be pickup of fleabay far cheaper

Would imagine this lot will be cheap than all the 3" systems you mention and you will also get the decat up pipe in that, and then if the warranty is not an issue for you any more with the money you have saved go for a remap to see the real benefits of the above to get to your target.
