Question How To Clean a Panel Air Filter?

Noticed different opinions on SN about how, when to clean the Panel Filter.

I noticed someone said they put theirs in a Dishwasher cycle with no Dishwasher tablets/powder in it?

Do you soak it in water, then spray some Air Filter Oil on ( after it's dry) or what?

Done about 15,000 miles in mine, got the Motor serviced last week & they blew out some bits of muck.

It's a JR Blue Panel Filter and, it works well.

Thanks in advance for advice.

KInd regards

Using a mild detergent e.g. washing up liquid will remove far more dirt particles stuck in the original filter oil. Just don't try it if it's a paper filter !!!!
