how do i no what piston i need???

look at the top of piston. you will see an A or B, that means piston grade ( diameter ). If your piston is melted, so look at top of block.
You will see four digits A and B in an arrangement like this:
AB
AB corresponding to
3rd 4th
1st 2nd pistons
and that means that 1st and 3rd pistons are grade A; others are grade B
