Default How to increase Torque?

This is just a general query. How do you increase Torque on a car. I have an sti my53 UK. Very happy with what I got at 355bhp on standard turbo but various upgrades but just interested to know.

Get the turbo to spool as early as possible, run as much boost as is safe on your car, and adjust the map to suit.

Some bigger turbo's can reduce torque, unless you're in a position to run much higher boost.

Mark.
