Mainly they are by the steering column, and you will need to remove the lower cover panel beneath the dash to find it.
On early cars (I think) you might find it under the passenger seat.

Are you sure you have one?
Only Sti RA's/Type R's etc had them.

I have a 1995 sti typre ra, so I should! It's all there on mine, it just doesn't bloody work! One second interval flashes at bottom of dccd dashboard scale! Don't know where to start with this problem, any ideas??? Had look at gearbox today, all wires seem to be attached to gearbox ok, so no signs of any broken ones. Great car apart from this....oh yes, and the small problem of a bottom end bearing gone!!!

you could do worse and talk to David at Welcome to the API website indeed about both probs.

The world of the 'dccd' is a spooky one and enter if you dare!
Check the fuses and all the notmal stuff. There is also a simple relay which could be stuck. It is connected to a pink connector so easy to find in the jungle of a wire loom....
Graham.

Default Pink connector

Any clues as to where the pink connector and relay is??? I have looked at fuses but as it's all in Japanese, have no idea what is for what! Have spoken to David at API, can't afford to go and see him for a rebuild at moment, trying to source second hand engine first, proving to be near impossible though!
