New car! - What do these buttons do????
Hi all, just picked up my new '97 Sti V3 today. However i don't know what the "WATER SPRAY" & "HEIGHT" buttons do. They are located next to each other, along with the rear wiper button on the LHS of the steering wheel. I think the water spray is for the intercooler - however what does it do? and if it needs filling up where do i do it?
Sorry to sound so thick - but i've been driving an MR2 tubby around for the last 4 years! (not many gadgets like these in one of those! )
PS: - Does this car have a driver variable diff? i thought i read somewhere it did, yet to date it eludes me!
Thanks in advance lads!
Regards
Andy

Ive got a Ver3 STi too, but dont have those buttons
Must have been dealer options i suppose... manual override for i/c spray if in traffic and not sure about height, perhaps manual headlight adjustment?

The water spray sprays water onto the intercooler in an atempt to cool the inlet charge when you'be sat still for a while, i 'think' it should be automatic on high boost aswell... i suspect the bottle may well be in the front of the engine bay, on the left.....
Height shouldn't be headlamps, as the jap models don't usually have height adjustable lamps, but i dunno what else it could be...
And if you have dccd, it'll be a switch down by the handbrake....
