FAO Andy F, JGM or Zen AVCR Boost Controller Wiring
I have plumbed in an avcr into my 2002 sti, but am now trying to wire it today and cant see ecu diagram in the instructions as my ecutek tek3 ecu has 5 connectors and not 4 or 3 as in earlier model classics.
Have you got the wiring diagram so i can do this asap please as need to get done today.
Many thanks.

Took the car for a long drive, check engine light is on permanently.
Boost and rpm seems fine on avcr, but speed, throttle are staying at zero, also gear judge values are not changing when driving along, help!!!!
Wiring looks fine, could it be the plumbing, i have solenoid com going to actuator, no going to turbo nipple, nc feeding backing into air filter hose and map sensor teeing into boost guage hose with the little filter that came with it inline.
btw i have ditched 3 port solenoid and am using avcr solenoid solely
I wired it in using this wiring diagram as the 2002 STI isnt 5 connector ecu isnt listed in avcr wiring diagram you get with the ecu http://www.apexi-usa.com/pdfWiring/2.pdf
I wired
the red wire to power
the grey to throttle
the white to speed
the purple to rpm
the green to ground the closest to ecu, then the black in line after the green

So is it just speed and throttle that aren't working?
I'll get the pins for you and let you knpw, shortly.

If you have unplugged the solenoid that was there before the ECU will throw a CEL, you need to wire a small resistor across the solenoid connections to prevent this anything betweeen 4.7k and 10k should be fine.

Will the cel do any damage?
If you can get me the wiring diagram for throttle and speed that would be great.
I have went by the above pdf so should be correct, hope the boost controller will be ok.
May just disconnect it in the meantime, till u get me the diagram.
Can i disconnect, avcr head unit, solenoid and map sensor connector and still have the car running, obviously they will still have hosing plumbed in?

Cant believe the diagram was wrong ffs, wonder what pin i have it wired into then and if its doing damage to the unit?
Wonder why the throttle is staying at zero, it that reliable on the speed working or something?
Listen thanks for all your help and hope this fixes it.
Will let you know

I thought this was the throttle position arrow on the avcr pointing in the wrong direction so switched it to the down right position and it sat at 100% straight away so obviously wrong.

Cant believe apexi have the wrong wiring diagram on their site for the 2002 STI
Also took apart the connector on the throttle sensor and connected a new one, jobs a good works perfect 0.5v to 5v, must have been a dodgy connector that wasnt biting into wires enough.
May just solder them eventually.
Again thanks loads
