WRX SA Engine - TD04 or TD05?

WRX SA Engine - TD04 or TD05?
I have recently done an engine conversion for my 91 RS sedan after 210,000 kms. In sourcing a suitable replacement engine I came across a imported nose cut from a October 93 WRX wagon with 80,000kms.
Engine details:
Applied Model: GF8B58D
Option Code : BX
Engine Type : EJ20GDW1ND
Transmission : TY752VB3CA
My research seems to indicate that the nose cut was from an early model WRX STi but marketed as the WRX SA. It is quoted as having a power output of 250 PS (around 180kw) compared with the standard WRX of 220PS.
Can anyone confirm that this engine is the 250PS version?
Also, I am concerned I may have been ripped off by the people that did the conversion. It has a TD04 turbo on it but should it have a TD05 instead - hence the higher power output?
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I apologise if the answer appears elsewhere and I haven't managed to find it.

Some more info - the car it came out of seemed to be a stripped back version of the Wagon - ie no Air Conditioning and had what looked like a factory (?STi) aluminium sump guard which started from under the front bumper back. I did find a jap website that listed this engine type as having the TD05 but have not been able to backtrack to find it again since. Proof would be good.
The complete ID for the engine (all the numbers I recorded off the nose cut I could find) is:
Applied Model: GF8B58D
Option Code : BX
Engine Type : EJ20G DW1ND
Transmission : TY752VB3CA
VIN ? : GF8 - 007380
: EJ20961574

Theres a lot of nonsense talked about the GF8 WRX Type-SA. As you have said, it was nothing more than a cheap entry-level SportsWagon (sold for about ¥100,000 less than the WRX). It uses a completely standard TD04-equipped 220PS engine. It certainly did not have a TD05 turbocharger nor was it rated at 250PS.

Was this the website? Theyre confusing the Type-SA with the 1994 altered-production STI 'Wagon.
Thanks for your help - I wish I had posted this a lot sooner. I now have an engine purporting to be an early STi but not.
