Default Dump valve question

Hi all, if this sounds like a really silly question, then please don't mock me too much.

I am fitting a nice new FMIC on my 95 Sti, and I was wondering if I needed to put a dump valve on the new kit? Or if I could just block off the bit of pipework for the dump valve.

If so could I re-use the origional one?

Cheers

John

Yes you still need the dump valve. Some people drive around without them, but then that's a separate issue to whether you've got a fmic or not. If you had a dump valve before, reuse it again, if it's possible to hook it up. If not, you need a v3-v4 dump valve which is a simple L shape recirculating valve.
