Default Whats the best quiet exhaust for a MY00?

With a bambino on the way I need change the exhaust to something a little more on the quiet side.

Its a MY00 and will be running a VF35 turbo & Power FC remap, Im keeping the de-cat downpipe and de-cat centre section, the current back box is a H&S Afterbuner Vortex.

Whats the best backbox which is quiet on normal driving but gets louder when giving it some (i.e no bambino in car!). I've tried the Prodrive one and it was too quiet, so something a little louder than that, bearing in mind it needs to be free flowing as the car will have 310bhp.

Roger Clark one the pipe seems to restrictive/bent?

Any others recommended?

I've got a Brand new never fitted Revolution full 3 inch decat for sale that can still do trackdays, I think the DB rating is 93db.

Nice and quiet, but with an excellent flow to noise ratio.

Apart from that the Racebox from Scoobyworld gives a nice noise for a 2.5 inch.

Couldn't cope with H&S 5" job so bought a TSL Grp N.

Looks good and much less noise.

Another one for Revolution

Had a full system on my Type R, nice burble but not overly intrusive.

What are the vortex ones like? I was offered one a while ago (gone now though ) I have a Ninja at the mo but wanted something with a bit more grunt.

Chad, the AB vortex is very loud.

Never been a fan of Magnex, the oval pipe is ugly. Dont think a bung will bring the noise down enough.

May try the Revolution or TSL, Damo yours is a 3" which is'nt worthwhile I understand until 350bhp+

A 2.5 inch will be restrictive past 350bhp, but the 3 inch provides further tuning opportunities, plus one guy on here saw 261bhp with this exhaust and a panel filter.

All I know is that this is a quiet exhaust especially for a 3 inch.

H&S original scooby design. Lovely sound, not overly loud, but lets you know about it when you put your foot down!!

Revolution gets my vote, i have a UK MY99 and think it's just right, not too loud but enough to know the difference
