Default More power from a 99 UK PPP

Just wondering if there are any mods that compliment a PPP on a 99 UK Turbo.
Going through some olds threads, it was mentioned that you cannot go past 240bhp, with the Prodrive ECU.
Surely some general mods, de-cat, induction etc would fee up more power wouldn't it?
Do people bother modding this without a re-map?

thanks in advance

I have the PPP on a MY99 running a sports cat in the downpipe, no centre cat and a freeflowing back box. Seems to spool quicker but it has moved the torque curve up slightly, This is on the TD04 a small turbo, the car is more responsive when on boost and seems to pull for longer, where as before it was all over by 5000 RPM.

The drawback is, now the weather is getting cold, boost rises to quickly befor the ECU can get it under control and you get overboost in 4th 5th gear when under load ,say uphill above 90MPh "on a private road". Can peak 1.3 Bar.

So my next move would be a 3 Port solenoid and a re-map, as i have a spare ECU.
Hope this helps.

Over standard? I thought the PPP gives it about that anyway.
Thanks, but I just want to know what power can be gained without, re-mapping.

no thats over the ppp

tbh your not gonna get much more from anything unles you get it mapped, just having it custom mapped alone will improve performance over the ppp
