I'm after a bit of advice.
I'm wondering what sort of mods could be done without voiding my warranty on my '05 WRX (UK)?
Do things like replacing the airfilter or ECU remaps void warranty?
Also, what sort of performance would a WRX be capable of for a couple of grand?
Or for the money is it worth taking the hit now and trading in for an STi? (Probably get £13.5k for it).

In theory everything would void the warranty, possibly in practice they would only have a problemw ith things which were directly affected (i.e. a remap would kill the engine warranty but not the suspension etc.).
PPP is your only hassle free mod for more power (260 bhp ish for £1200 - £1600).
Maybe talk to your delaer and see if they're willing to work with you or not.
£2k would get you some nice alternative mods though, not sure about possible power as I went PPP.
