oil type
jsut had oil change dun, guy used 5/30 fully synthetic, dus this sound right???

i done oil change on my29ra yesterday i used motul 300v15/50
might be wrong but is 5/30 not to thin

93/4 wrx, not a track car but u know - i like 2 get my toe down sometimes, running 280/270 and front mount being fitted and mapped on thurs, just thought id mention incase this affects!

certainly wouldn't run an oil that thin in a classic of that age..............
you'd be better with a 10w40 min.........

Millers CFS10W60 is generally recognised as an excellent choice.
Have a look at the flyer for their motorsport products and decide for yourself.

The suggestion that thinner oil is needed for cold conditions is partly correct. BUT if you allow you engine (coolant and oil) to reach operating temperature before giving it grief, this becomes much less relevant.
