hey there.
Im fully understanding of how anoying that beeeeeeeeeeep is, Im guessing you have an oil pressure gauge with your set up and this is the cause of your problem. When you turn the ignition on your Defi's calibrate and as there is no pressure in the oil system the Defi's go in to fault and warn you of the lack in pressure.
The way i stopped this problem was to install an inline switch on the main power source to the control unit. This way the whole set up can be switched off if and when required.
Hope this helps

AFAIK, it should ONLY beep when the ignition is "on", (not "accessories", but actually showing warning lights, ready for starting), and the engine NOT running.

If it's doing it when your ignition is in the "accessories" position, (like when sat in the car, parked, listening to the stereo), then your gauges may be wired incorrectly.

The control unit has FOUR wires to it: PERMANENT live, SWITCHED LIVE, (this is the one you probably have connected to accessories, not ignition), LIGHTING, and EARTH.

IIRC, they are RED, ORANGE, WHITE, BLACK, in that order.

with the ignition on you will get the peeeep. To stop this you press play on the defi controller(have to record something 1st) and press pause.

That should sort it out
