Cars runing only runing on 3 have found out its the back passanger side but cant get the plug out myself so its in the garage again tomo, it also has the check engine light on ive just tryed to get the code and it comes up with --. over and over does anyone know what this is

Is it too tight? Removing the battery should give you enough access.

Is the CEL flashing constant? ie all flashes the same length? Thats what it does if they are no faults.

its 2 fast 1 slow over and over. Its the very back plug non of my tools can get in there and fit over the plug. The cars been sat for 2-3 months which im hoping has just caused the plugs to get dirted up.

The code is 21, according to this website its a coolant temperature or sensor circuit.

Ahhh that would be why the fans are on and the temp gauge hasnt moved hhmm
