most people run higher than standard boost & as a side effect get oil residue in the inlet tracts & intercooler.
This then Prompts the serious modder to vent the breathers in one form or another![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
For all those that vent to Atmosphere using hose's pointing at the Arb's or wishbones Etc, Is there a possibility that you could be sucking up all sorts of un-filtered dust & dirt on a dry day ???
This seems to be a very grey area
Some people saying the breathers do suck air in, Others mentioning nothing about it ![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Clarification would really help here![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
thanks

The head breather should actally suck air in under vacume conditions which is usually fine as they are plumbed into the inlet tract.
What i have done is vented the crank breather to a catch can but left the head breathers plumbed into the inlet tract but chopped the pipe after the t and put a one way valve in there so they can suck in clean post filter air under vac conditions but under boost conditions the valve closes so no oil residue can get back into the air intake system.
