Default Oil Pressure Problem with Swoosh

Hi Guys.

Just been Installing some SWOOSH gauages.

Oil TEMP Works a Treat taken from the Sandwich Plate

Boost - Works fine

Oil Pressure isnt working.

I took this from the top of the Engine (under altinator) Undid the oil pressure switch and fitted the sender in there, The Needle goes to 120PSI as soon as you turn the igns on. As soon as you start it just stays there and doesnt go down. Has any oen got any ideas, ive cheked the wires

Having the issue with my Pro sport gauge, it moves between 120/140 with the ign on/with/without sender. I'm guessing our gauges are at fault.

Is it a stepper motor type gauge.

Make sure the oil pressure sender has a good earth ie from the engine or even battery to the body of the sensor solder on if poss or tape on ,if you have used ptfe tape to seal the fitting it will stop the earthing to the sensor. This will cause the symtons you describe, had the same problem my self !
