My AVC-r seems to have reset itself so I need to tune it again. However, it doesn't seem to want to self learn (i.e. the RPM specific boost curve stays flat) even after a few 100% throttle bursts.

Any ideas how I get the thing to start self learning again (and yes, self learn is ON in 1/2/3 gears i've checked! start duty is 0% there too)

 

Before it starts to learn the actual boost would need to be very near target boost, is this the case?

 

Well in 1/2/3 gears the boost doesn't reach the max and didn't previously with AVC-r setup. Most I remember seeing is 1.39 bar in 3rd with a target of 1.5. In 4th/5th the boost easily reaches 1.5 bar so perhaps I need to turn on self learn in 4th/5th instead?

 

I wouldnt be messing if you dont know what you are doing matey.

I give my car 5 runs in 4th gear from low rpm till i got the car round the correct boost, upping the duty or lowering it till i got my car around 1.5 bar.

I tried using self learn by turning on in 4th and 5th, not 1st, 2nd or 3rd, but car overshot sometimes so turned off as too unpredictable.

Set up all the other settings first ie gear judge, boost, duty, rpm specific boost and duty.
