2005 STI clocks in a 2002 STI

Can anyone tell me why a set of 2005 STI clocks would illuminate the ABS, handbrake and Diff lights if fitted in a 2002 WRX?

Help needed asap please, also would they still illuminate on a 2002 STI

Can live with the diff lights but the ABS and Handbrake
