Default Remap ???

Hi folks,
I have a 94 wrx, which has just had a scoobyworld sport cat and straight through centre fitted, and is about to have a firestorm back box added.
Reading some other posts, do I need to have it remapped?
I dont really know what this involves or what it costs. It is otherwise standard.
Your thoughts?
Cheers
Bod

hi mate, pre 1996 imprezas can't be remapped!
sorry! you have to fit a new programmable ECU, link, sigma, hydra, motec, autronic,etc...
try maybe scoobyecu, that's for the pre 1996, that's an add on chip socket for the original ECU.
hope this help
cheers

pretty much yes, however i did read somewhere that ecutek are bringing out the early years system in the summer.

no you wont need it mapped, however cos its an import it should have been mapped for uk fuel anyway, unless your running in on super + octain booster?

to remap your car you need either an aftermarket ecu.. or the ESL board etc..

hi, i've a stupid question about the ESL, , what's is the ESL board???
i've an stiv3 1997, my option was to fit a new mappable ECU but now if you say i can map it through an oder system i'm interested in .

it is currently a phase 1 fitment only, so your main option is a mappable ecu..

Plugs into the spare slot on the phase 1 ecu and is then mapped etc..
