Default knock sensor

ive just got my knock sensor for my 2000 classic i would like some help locating where it is in the engine as i havent got a clue about these cars and i want to have a go at doing it myself ive only had mine for 8 months and this is my first prob pics would be great guys help??????????

Knock sensor can be found above cylinder 4 this is located on the left hand side towards the back of the block " starter motor side ". It’s a small back sensor with one wire and one bolt attaching it to the block.

I got to mine very easily, with an extender bar and 12mm (i think) socket was out and replaced in no time!!

The connecter is held to a bracket under the inlet.

easy 5 min job just stand over the passenger wing and look down at the block you cant miss it
