Default FLAMER KIT

Hello people i have just set up a flamer kit on my scooby, put my full 3.5" decat pipe back on from turbo back,but no flames at all the spark plug is sparking well enough can anyone give me any ideas this will be great cheers lads scott

Are u reving the engine at the same time? Usually flames come out when the revs r dropping down or back off??

try a fast blast in 4th then let off should flame then tho when i had mine fotted the first plug i used didnt do any flames then i changed it to a diff type of a mondeo i think lol and it flames nearly all the time

the plug i was sent was just a thin ****ty fiat plug, so i should try something a bit fatter?

i have tried reving it up to 5k revs and letting it drop back down still nowt

yes i have a forge dump valve and what type of plug should i try

Try a hotter plug find a plug from something with a turbo engine or anythin above a 2l engine size?

Yea mate try a mondeo 1? Or just go down halford and have a look in there books see what plugs they have?

mondeo zetec plug the long one its about twice the size as a normal plug so goes in that more or try a 4 tip plug there allso good as have 4 contacts and not just the 1 spark

what do you think would be best mondeo or the 4 tip? cheers scott

depends on teh backbox mate i got a 5" pipe so needed the longer mondeo 1 but if its only a 2/3" The 4 tip might work better as u get 4 sparks im no expert but just my idea
