no but you can tell if it is closed deck by looking for the criss cross markings on the block .. they are obvious on the heads.. need to then check if the block has it, on front or rear.

As JGM said above - look for cross hatching on the block and the casting where the Modine/oil filter bolts to,to tell if its a CDB.
You cant tell much else without removing one of the heads to see what valvetrain,cams and valve codes its got(unless you have access to a Endoscope to look down the bores)
