I managed to change it yesterday. quite straight forward in the end.![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
10mm spanner for heat shield. Then off with the intercooler to get the shield out!
7/8" for exhaust sensor. What is this sensor???![Ponder2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
14mm spanner for exhaust/turbo joint. These all came away pretty easy. Not seized on which i was worried about. But soaked all bolts before removing.
Put my original exhaust back on and i must say its quite nice to have a quiet exhaust!! took for a run round the block and parked up with smoke billowing from my bonnet!! But i knew it was just from all the rust release liquid being burnt off on the turbo!![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)
My motor runs so much smoother now!!! How is that possible??
When putting on say a 3" straight thru system(no cats) Do you have to reprogramme the ECU or something?????![Ponder2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
Just a few thoughts and questions
