hi just bought a 94 scooby says its an sti but seller said its badged up as so but hes unsure does not really matter to me but would like to know if there a surefire tell tell sign im new to subarus any one shed some light cheers

yes..... version 1 have limited build plate under bonnet,sti seats, water spray, sti steering wheel, wing sti badges..

Water-spray bottle under bonnet, front left IIRC.
Single solid Alluminium strut brace with pink mountings.
ECU should be badged SA.
