Default Lambda sensors two? or one?

Do Imprezas have two lambda sensors or one, or is it year dependent?

I have a 93 closed deck JDM WRX motor (w6 ecu) that I putting in a project I am building. I can see what I assume is a Lambda sensor in the bottom of the up pipe to the turbo, but not having the cat equipped downpipe I am not sure if their should be one there as well ?

Cheers

93 has one.. which is in the headers just before the uppipe bolts to the headers.. it them has a cat not working sensor / cat over heat sensor in the downpipe.. but you can just ignore it.
