Default No Cats and MOT?

I know you can get early WRX through MOT with no cats MY93 94.
What is the newest age of car you can through a MOT with no Cats, is it MY95 WRX? When was the cut off date?
Thanks

Any age car can pass an mot without cats. Its not a requirement to have cats for the mot. All the car needs to do is pass the emisions test required for its particular year of manufacture.
