General consensus when I asked this was that it was best to change the lot as mixing is not recommended..

The type couldn't even be confirmed on mine with factory oil in it from new..!

Are you sure it needs topping up..? Usually as long as you can see some (and it's difficult to see being clear) on the bottom of dipstick it' enough..!

75/90 is standard for a classic.

For any questions give Simon a ring on
Opie Oils

I'm sure topping it up will cause no harm tho, got to better than not enough surely.

The plug is underneath, yep fill up from the dipstick tube near your turbo, just need patience, sposed to take 3.5 L, i filled mine with a risbridger and needed a bit more to the full line tho.

Off.
It will drain a bit easier if car has been driven,do it with engine off,
check gearbox sump plug when you take it off for any big bits of debris, small bits are fine, once drained. Fill at dipstick holder.

The gearbox takes 3.5l of oil !! and you have to fill it through the dipstick tube ??????????????????????
that must take a lot of patience

put your new oil on a heater/in hot water for an hour (still in the bottles ) the new oil will go down the dipstick tube a bit faster iff warm
