Default What dump valve?

Hi im just after some advice on what dump valve to upgrade to..

At the min i have got a baileys Dv26,and am wanting a louder sounding one.

I have heard from people that the HKS Super Sequential Blowoff Valves are one of the loudest and best for car is this correct?

Also some people have said that the Blitz super sound dump valves are the ones to get,so i was just after some advice from you guys what to get...

I know that dump valves arent just for sound and they have a job to do within the engine but all the same i would realy like a loud one,so any advice form anyone that has either of these two valves would be most appriciated..

My car is a scooby wrx import 1994

Best upgrade is to fit a standard one.

roflmao what you talking about old man!

T5OLF read what the guy is asking before you reply mate!!!

am wanting a louder sounding one
standard one sux big time for your needs Crossland1979

you are basically asking which is the loudest dump valve you can get for a scooby right ?

Try HKS super blow off dump valve, they often have a feature where as you can set it to loud or very loud on them, thats where i'd be looking . . .

Hopefully someone on here might be able to give you better advice if they have a loud one fitted, but i am guessing by your one and only reply so far there all boring farts who think a standard dump valve is your best option

alternativly sell your scooby and get a real perfomance car 'cough' Evo 'cough'

you've obviously been tricked into buying a car you thought was quick and looked nice . .

hi mate
just thought i'd share what i've found out about the dump valves i've had on my car

got a bailey vta first and it was a bit poo tbh
did not have a strong enough spring and would leak quite a bit when on the motorway

then i bought a blitz from a chap on here and it performed very well
not the loudest but loud enough and it seems to be strong enough that it leaks only at the higher motorway speeds

i've now went for the front mount and TD05 on a MY98 tyoe r and have splashed out on a HKS SSQ as i thought that with the higher pressures i would be better off with something that could cope
and sound quite nice too

been offshore since it's been mapped so i aint had a proper chance to hear it in full flight yet
but i've been told it sounds the muts

cheers

ss

Got hold of a HKS SSQ today, all fitted and sounds real nice, all i wanna know is what fins do you guys that have one use in the end and what you think the best sounding fin is for loudness? [Think there is 3 different fins]..... Do the fins make it louder or just change the sound?
