Default FPR needed on 350bhp new age?

Is an uprated FPR needed on a UK new-age WRX if said WRX is running roughly 350bhp and a walbro 255l/hr pump with STI pinkies (565cc)? Or is it a case of uprated FPR's only needed if you want to run a higher than standard fuel pressure?

Done a bit of searching, but can't seem to get a consenscus from the threads

In same position as you, only looking 300/300 though. I thought about new fuel rails to balance out the fuel ditribution but my head has turned to mush reading all the posts and not getting a answer.

In the end I have decided to get a FPR and a set of fuel rails anyway.

Not much help, sorry.

I have uprated my newage to around 400bhp and been told by numerous sources inc Andy F on here that can reach it by either bigger injectors 650cc, or uprated FPR prob running around 3.7-3.8 bar or by both if looking more mods in the future 400bhp+.

I opted for just the FPR as couldnt be bothered with fitment of 650cc injectors, a lot easier time wise on a Clasic than a newage as done the replacement on my old classic to 550cc.

Will keep you informed when i get Andy to map it, but with my mods should be somewhere around the 380-420bhp.

I am running 420+ with 650 cc injectors, parallel fuel rails & Standard FPR,

Adjustable FPR are used to increase the pressure to help eliviate the problem of poor fuel distribution with the standard fuel rails.

Parallel fuel rails are the way to go

my 04 is running 370/370 thanks to Bob R. He didn't feel a FPR was necessary..
