Unhappy 05 & 07 STi wheels different?

Or so my dealer has just told me.The Turinis from my 05 will go on the front but not the back of the 07.

It would seem the rears are different, something to do with it fouling on the bearing hub(altho I haven't had a look yet)

They've asked Prodrive and subaru UK who were unaware of any changes and are waiting an answer from Japan

Has anyone else heard of or come across this?

cheers,Jon

Yes the Lotus Elise, but not on a Scooby! 05 onwards have a greater PCD to accomodate bigger bearings in the front hub (group N upgrade?).

Jon

All the wheels that we have that fitted 05MY also fit 07MY STi so I can't understand why the Turinis won't fit.

Regards

Mike

Thanks Mike

The message I got from the dealer was a bit **** about face

The Turini's fitted both the 05 and 07,but the std oem Enkeis from the 07 would only fit on the front of the 05.

The location diameter on the hub of the new wheels was 0,05mm smaller than the Speedlines(and of others that we measured)and just that tiny amount was causing them to foul on the hub of the car

..all sorted now,Cheers Jon
