hi everyone. i have a impreza sport wagon that i use for work, it has a knock on start up. i recently got given a 93 legacy turbo and was wondering if it would be possible to transplant the engine into the sport? i know the turbos have a hydrulic clutch and the sports are cable operated, would the turbo motor fit the sport box???? any help / advice / experience would be greatly appreciated! robbie

Not sure why you would want to try this but I think you'd be looking at a lot of problems and other things you'd have to upgrade if you wanted to fit the legacy motor to a sport preza.
Far better just to get rid of the sport, and concentrate on the Legacy itself. It's less popular car yes, but that means less chance of it being nicked, cheaper insurance, more solid build and almost the same performance with all the same upgrade options.
If you want more legacy info - have a look at UK Legacy Forums (Powered by Invision Power Board)![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Good luck if you decide to do the conversion on the sport but there's no way I'd go to all that hassle!
