Default engine choices 2.2 or 2.5

bought another scooby a my98 v4 type r engine is knacked, thinking of a 2.5 sti short block from flat four online, does anyone know if the supplied gaskets are any good? or would i be better saving the £100 & getting them from elsewhere, what sort of power & torque is the 2.5 shotmotor capable of, it states 460hp on his website but i'm a bit dubious of this, or would a 2.2 be better, i'm not after mega power just what the gearbox & clutch is capable of surviving in standard form its a dccd box, i also want reliability thanks in advance

From the experiences of other people, F4 supply the gaskets/ kits for the US cars, and these won't be right for your earlier STi4 R.

If you give me a call, I have all the correct parts, including the short engines in stock, and it won't cost you any more !
