Default Boost issues again!

Right well for the last few days I've been having problems with my boost gauge vac pipe keep crimping up not giving correct boost reading...sorted that

Now today its only showing 12psi and it feels slower YET i set my dawes at just over 14 for 1 bar and it's just not getting near it today or yesterday?

What is going on? Any ideas

Are all the pipes still connected and 'very' secure? Did you use hose clamps or ties when you fitted the Dawes? Is the Dawes fitted correctly? Is the hole in the Dawes blocked? Are any of the vacuum pipe twisted?

Well I turned up my boost controller and nothing happened so I thought hmmm must be something to do with that.

Checked the pipe to the actuator....fine, then checked the pipe back to the turbo AND the bit where it joins to the controller, the whole joint was loose!! Ahaaaa!

A 13mm spanner, tighten up the joint and a quick check of the pipes and connections and boost back to original setting...up the road, floor it, 14-15psi wooohoooo scared of it again now! lol

Thanks folks!

I clamped my pipes with some small cable ties, never had any problems..
