Default Turbo timers...

....Are they worth it?

Usually running late for work and cant sit in the car all the time for it to cool down!!!
Anyone really rate them or slate them?

Thanks, Sam

Hi Sam.

Nice to see you have joined SN.

TBH, i think there is no need for a Turbo timer esp at the level you are currantly running. the car only needs to cool down so much if you have been giving the car some real stick. But best to drive the last few miles at a slower rate let every thing cool down with air as it was ment to do. The car running just lets the oil go round the engine and turbo and not cool other things down.

Regards

Hi Sam,

If you have a one then get it fitted. I was thinking you were going to buy one and they can be pretty expensive. Wiring them isnt a massive job i bet Deano Could do it for you
