Any help with mods
Can anyone please help with mods i want to do to get the best out of my 1996 Jap import WRX, ive already got a full decat exhaust system, induction air intake, 255 ltr fuel pump.
Which way do i go, bigger turbo, bigger injectors, does a stainless inlet manifold make a differance? any advice would be much appreciated. iv'e got about £600 to spend.

Not sure what you have on that year.
I'm thinking
TD05 - upto 350hp with ALL the right supporting mods
380 or 440cc Injectors (440's would be at their limit at 350)
A decent intercooler, either top or front mount.
New ECU or ScoobyChip.
There are other odds and sods, but £600 probably wont cut it.

PolarPerformance have a few options regarding 'chipping' but as welloil said you'll need a bit more than £600.
What you could do though is spend it on some suspension goodies to take full advantage of the power you have at the mo.

An ECU remap to 1.1bar should see you up around the 280BHP mark using an off-shelf map.
Using a bespoke map (i.e mapped for the car), this could push on to 290-300BHP.
If you can pick up a set of 2nd hand 440cc injectors and a 97> map sensor then this can be pushed on to around 1.3bar and 320BHP/330BHP. But this would probably take your budget upto around £700-£750.
Editted to say : 440's are at their limit at 1.35bar/11.0AFR, unless a pressure reg is used to up the pressure. Oh! and I wouldn't advise running 1.35bar on the standard slanty intercooler, so you would need to factor that in.

If there 740cc Venoms from the states then don't bother. they are resized 380's and they have issues.
740's are also overkill unless you are going for mega power.
550's will probably give you all you ever need.
