Default Dastek uni-chip any good?

Hi all, im currently thinking about having one of these fitted to my car,has anybody had or running one at the moment.
at the moment im using a scooby ecu chip, since having this chip fitted done quite a few more mods,question is do i get this remapped or go the dastek route ?
any advise / views plz.

i think the outcome will be the same as both will have custom maps. I had a unichip installed when i first got my car but had it removed and went for an ecutek remap after have so major mods done because the garage that did the mods could'nt map the unichip. I also had fuel cut problems with the unichip.

I'm sure there is a place in the scheme of things for Unichip.
I just don't happen to think a Subaru is the place.

ok any ideas what would suit my needs, only aiming for over 300 brake at the minute poss more in the future.

what model do u have? and is a scooby ecu chip like a plug in device or?

Check PolarPerformance or www.enduringsolutions.co.uk

These chips fit in the spare slot on the pcb and replace the map on the ecu

its a 92`wrx and the chip is soldered in

Is the chip soldered directly to the ECU motherboard?

The Unichip is a piggyback device and as such has some restrictions. Try altering the MAF calibration curve with one!

300bhp quite straightforward to achieve with the right bits.
