Default Which octane booster?

Can anyone give me some recomendations?
Going to be in in rural southern France in a few weeks and from lasts years experience 97ron is hard to find and when you do it doesn't seem to perform like UK fuels
Over here I only run on V power as the car doesn't like anything else
(according to the knocklink)
What I'm after is something I can use to boost 95ron in an emergency and use with 97ron to get decent V power-like performance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
monkey

Nitrous Formula Race with Viscon is what I've used before. Fairly expensive though.

I prefer to use Millers Octane Plus simply because it's easy to use, one bottle per tankful and no measuring out. Also works out slightly cheaper than NF. That said, if you're travelling, and presumably will be filling up frequently, it'll be easier to carry one bottle of NF to three millers (or multiples of) IYSWIM..?
NF 600ml bottle = 6 points @£12ish v's Millers 250ml bottle = 2 points @£3.20ish.

Take 3 or 4 bottles, that way you can increase the amount needed if you're KL starts protesting. Just remember to take something to measure it in..!

BTW contrary to popular belief there is absolutely no difference between the NF Viscon and Vitane (sp)?

Only ever used NF as it was reccommended by Andy F for the tuned engine.
Sometimes RCMS send you a plastic bottle that when filled will do about a tank full.
Good mixture with Vmax!

Hmmm, having a handy measure would be helpful.

What was the capacity Graham, around 200mls..?

Millers Octane Plus which treats 50 litres or to be extra sure CVL Turbo which treats 20 litres.

And if you're caught short with nasty petrol just take it easy with the loud pedal.

Jason:
About right.

As above, if caught out minimum fill with whatever jungle juice and pootle to the next V Max station and fill up to the brim to dilute it.
