Default can i bodge an induction???

hi, iv got a 2001 2.0 non turbo, i looked on the k&n site found my car an bought an induction kit.....all seems well....

got my tools out and to my supprise i dont have an air temp sensor in my air box. silly me got a kit 4 a 16v an i dnt think mine is :S

do u think ill b ok blockin the tube off in the k&n kit for the air temp sensor an fittin the rest of the kit as normal???

Should be fine on a none turbo, definately block it off or unfiltered air will be entering.
