Default fuel pressure

Hey guys,

Don't know whether im being Paranoid but when i was driving the Terzo before it sat in the garage for 6 months the defi guage was reading 3.2bar at idle, and when you drive it used to go down to about 2.9 bar on boost.

Now that I've got her back out the guage is reading 2.7bar at idle driving it reads 3.2 bar.????

Spoke to Steve Simpson who mapped the car and he said the way it was working before i had it garaged was wrong and thinks it may have been running lean. Steve advised the way the guage is reading now is correct the fuel pressure should go up with the revs and drop when at idle not the other way round which is what it was doing when i took ownership of the car.

After speaking to Steve i vaugley remember that the engine used to cut out not often but enough to get me worried.

Anyone got any ideas on this? is the fuel pressure on the defi guage correct and is it what its running at correct.

Its a 2.5 EJ25 engine with a aftermarket FPR cannot remember what make but its one of the good ones.

cheers all
