Default How to adjust speed sensitive power steering

I don't like how light the steering is in the WRX 2007.
It is speed sensitive, so the faster you go the heavier it becomes but I would prefer it if it was constantly heavy as it is at high speeds.
There must be a way to reprogram the ECU (i guess the power steering pump must be controlled electronically) so as to set the steering pump to minimum assistance all the time.
Does anyone know how this could be done?
Any help would be much appreciated as it is a great car but the steering feel lets it down

Thanks,

Anyone?
Alternatively how can the steering feel be improved? It's crap compared with other cars!
Would a prodrive geometry setup and/or thicker ARB help?
