GAS SHOCK ORIGINAL

Hi all

Could anyone tell me what a gas shock original is and how much it costs to replace them?

Picking up a 95 WRX soon and apparently it needs a new gas shock.

Any ideas

Only replace in pairs. KYB should be the original type. GC8 chassis.

are these basically the shock absorbers then? or they different things?

Sounds like dampers to me.

are dampers the same as shock absorbers? as i have now ahd it confirmed that its the rear right hand shock absorber that needs changing.
