exhaust temp gauge

Lightbulb exhaust temp gauge

Hi can anyone help me. I need some info on were to put my exhaust air temperature sensor probe in my car.. were is the best place?

An EGT? In the exhaust manifold.... cylinder 3 is known to be the 'hottest running' of the 4 cylinders... so close to it. Will need a hole drilled and a boss welded on.

P.s try choose a better forum to post in in future... like General Technical for these type of questions

Wouldnt be thick enough to thread succesfully I would think
