Default Alternator securing with reversed inlet

Just thought i'd ask yet another question relating to my inlet reversal.

I have trimmed the bracket, flipped the alternator over tightned everything up and have put on the belt and tensioned them up.

One thing I am concerned with is that I havent been able to secure the alternator on the left hand side of the vehicle (the side opposite the bracket)

i dont think i can help you but who did the reversal for you ?

Did most of it myself. I cut the pipes, flipped the inlet, cut the alternator bracket and modified the throttle assembly.

The only external involvement was an engineering company which made the wedge piece for the throttle body , welded the wedge piece to the manifold and welded the pipe together.

you need a properly engineered for the job bracket

project threads: project RA page 4 & you will see a clear picture of a bracket made to hold/support the alternator.

run for several years and about 80,000miles without.. been meaning to make a bracket.. but extra weight.. lol

I used a cut down ali aircon bracket and a custom made S&N motorsport tensioner.
